SHROPSHIRE WATERCOLOURS

Living close to Shropshire, means that I can visit this beautiful part of Britain with ease. I like nothing better than to enjoy a day trip with paints tucked away in my bag. The cooling towers that can be seen from the Wrekin, have now been demolished, taking with them a piece of history. The landscape forever changed. It is a strenuous climb, but worth it for the views all around! The patterns and shapes of the vegetation create a vibrant tapestry that only can be woven in nature.

Long Mynd is a dramatically different landscape, with its sweeping hills. The colours of the growing heather cover the slopes in autumnal shades. The textures and patterns of the vegetation, create a patchwork quilt, sewn delicately together by Mother Nature.
